Each rotation period will be for a minimum of four weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks one academic term. The competition is open to both international and domestic students with preference given to incoming, first year students.
MIE: Mechanical and Industrial Engineering MASc
Two theses will be awarded annually. Note that one thesis will be awarded to an international student annually. The selection criteria for the fellowship are: Academic record of applicant Justification uoft participation in the research partnership opportunity, conference, or workshop Nomination letter from uoft and, in the case of an exchange opportunity, the host institution supervisor Preference will be given for mie that involve extended research stays and advanced training Applications are adjudicated by the IBBME director and associate directors of graduate programs and research.
The fellowship is tenable for the eight-month period following the application date. Please complete the online application form to be considered for this mie.
Funds are allocated to IBBME once per academic year. Uoft Wallberg Research Fellowship was created to recognize graduate students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement. Lian received the Centre for Commercialization in Regenerative Medicine Best Mie Award and Ali recived the CMC Microsystems Thesis Poster Award - Congrats! Congrats to Ali for winning a brand-new postgraduate scholarship! The group also received a renewed Discovery Uoft along with a Discovery Accelerator Supplement awarded in Canada per year!
