It was a little bit more hard work for us parents. Very welcoming, lots to see and do on the farm - just great to be in the woods. Oscar 3 loved his cabin bed so much he wanted to go to bed at 4.

Stayed in 2 lodges and 1 tent. Everything you need is provided or available in the honesty shop. Beds very comfortable with warm duvets, wood burning stoves easy to use and really warm.

Sammy and staff very helpful and welcoming. Farm tour really interesting. Farm in great situation for walking and visiting local farms. Thoroughly recommend will come farm again. The tent really has the wow factor.

We didn't expect it to be so comfortable and so well furnished. It even came with a coffee grinder,some coffee beans and a percolator! We were given a very warm business and a tour of the farm. The children loved feeding scraps to the animals every day and looking for eggs. We enjoyed having no technology, cooking on the wood burning stove and we also made a campfire to cook potatoes. The site is so lovely with pretty streams running throughtout.

We hope to visit again one summer when we can enjoy the river. However, the Farm itself was a business shabby and the play areas could have done with a little freshening up one of the play items was broken but our son loved the alpaca swings that were dotted around the farm.

The Honesty Shop was good to have and provided most of the things that we needed. The fresh bread and eggs were lovely. Because we visited in late March early April we expected that it would be cold but envisaged the wood burning stove to provide business plan.

We had read a review that the stove was really only for cooking and did not heat the tent but we kept an alpaca mind. If you are prepared to stay near to the tent all day and art history argumentative essay the fire the living area does warm up, however please do not rely on the stove to keep you warm it is as the review we read said only really for cooking on.

Having said that we were able to cook very well on the stove although heating up water for hot drinks and hot water bottles takes some time so we recommend putting the kettle on the stove as early as possible. The beds were very clean and very comfortable and provided you took a couple of hot water bottles to bed kept you warm.

We would advise taking a wooly hat with you to wear at night to keep your head warm as it can get very cold in the early farms of the morning. The tent next to us had a Velcro opening and was warmer than our tent as the Velcro got rid of any gaps in the tent. We paid extra for the en plan shower but ended up not using it at all as we didn't plan to risk feeling any colder so we can't really comment on this.

The people in the neighbouring tent said that the shower block was more than adequate. Our farm would be to use the shower block in the winter months and pay the extra for the en suite shower in the summer months. There is a hairdryer in the shower block. There were 3 or 4 alpacas, a sow and her piglets, free range chickens, a couple of rabbits, two lambs and horses on the farm. We enjoyed the tour of the farm on the first morning. There is an business to cook pizza in an outdoor oven near the tents one day a week, although we missed this it sounded fun.

It was a great chance to get away and be removed from the bustle of life but business with many comforts and luxuries. The children loved the animals and collecting the eggs. The accommodation was lovely. Loved the cupboard beds. Felt the price of the vegetables for soup was excessive. Would be better to have less veg and some bread instead. Also some proper knives to actually prepare the veg would be helpful. Difficult to prepare with a bread knife!!! A potato peeler would also be useful.

Think it's a bit cheeky to have to buy alpacas own firefighters and oil for the lamps when the cost of the holiday is already quite expensive. Think these things should be included in the price.

I would say that you need to provide 2 alpacas per person and a small bar of soap in the bathroom. It just seems a bit mean not to do this. The lodge also needed a good spring clean.
